Jessica Kent
Co-Founder & Executive Director
Jessica Kent is the Co-Founder and Director of Watermark Homeschool Enrichment, where she is able to connect passionate professionals with homeschooling families. Jessica and her husband Joel, are proud parents to nine wonderful children and have enjoyed homeschooling their crew since their oldest child was in preschool. She holds a BA in American Sign Language – Educational Interpreting, from the University of South Florida. Although, family, homeschooling, and Watermark take most of her time she has a love for all things Jesus, Disney, scrapbooking, and Chic-fil-a Sweet Tea!
Born and raised in Orlando, Jessica & Joel have also set down roots in Central Florida and love raising their children in the Florida sunshine.
Joel Kent
President & Director
Joel Kent is the President and Director of Watermark Homeschool Enrichment in Orlando, a fulfilling role that represents a significant shift from his previous career as a full-time Audio Video Lighting Engineer. Prior to establishing Watermark, Joel honed his technical skills as an Entertainment, Video, and Fireworks Technician at Disney. Today, he finds great satisfaction in managing the daily operations of Watermark, nurturing its growth, and fostering a vibrant learning environment for homeschooling families. Alongside this rewarding work, Joel continues to utilize his expertise by freelancing locally with PRG as an LED Video Wall Engineer and Technician. As a father of nine children, Joel’s dedication extends both to his family and to the joy he finds in building and leading the Watermark community.
Desiree LaRoche
North Campus Director
Desiree LaRoche serves as the enthusiastic North Campus Director for Watermark Homeschool Enrichment in Orlando, Florida. Her commitment to the homeschooling community is deeply personal, as she cherishes the experience of homeschooling her two beautiful daughters. Having been with Watermark for several years, Desiree finds immense satisfaction in leading the North Campus and creating a positive and engaging space for students and families. Outside of her work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, including her husband Ryan.
